I am a small-town girl from Sturgis, Michigan. Shortly after meeting my husband, we bought a house in South Bend, Indiana. (Not far from Notre Dame.) Two years ago we loaded up our two cars with everything that would fit and moved to the oldest city in the country, St. Augustine, Florida. Life is an adventure!

Absolutely! Our sweet girl, Charlotte, is a midlife ruby King Charles Cavalier. My girls and I rescued her after she had been surrendered by a breeder for having a few “flaws.” Her imperfections made her perfectly imperfect, just like us.
